Which syllabus does AKTU follow in 2025-26?
AKTU follows the NEP 2020 based curriculum (effective from session 2024-25) for B.Tech. Subject codes now use the new series — BCS (CSE core), BCAI (AI/ML), BCDS (Data Science), BCAM (electives), BNC (non-credit) — replacing the older KCS/KAI series for new batches.
Where can I download the official AKTU syllabus PDF?
Official syllabus PDFs for every course and branch are published on aktu.ac.in under the Syllabus section. Always cross-check with your college, as elective offerings vary by institute.
Are KCS-series subject codes still valid?
Older batches (admitted before NEP rollout) continue with their original KCS/KAI-series syllabus until they graduate. New batches follow BCS/BCAI/BCDS codes. Check your admission year to know which applies.
Does the AKTU syllabus change every year?
