Job description: Description . Automation Engineers Primary Responsibilities 1. Primary responsibilities include working with Dev/PM/Test to design and implement test and validation strategies throughout the development life cycle 2. Test Planning, test preparation, Test execution, and Test status reporting 3. Design and implement robust, scalable, and high quality test automation suites using Selenium and Java / C# 4. Write, execute and debug automated test cases, troubleshoot and debug complex systems 5. Detect underlying problems, patterns, and looks beyond the obvious. Assist in the analysis of test results to identify the root cause of failure 6. Identify opportunities for process, tools and test methodology improvements and drive those from concept to implementation Work with the open source to scale up test automation practices, and provide robust releases. Required Skills 1. Excellent development skills in either Java or C# is mandatory 2. Excellent Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures & design patterns 3. Experience in communicating with business teams, other development teams, & management to collect requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs. 4. Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills 5. Excellent experience in Selenium WebDriver, TestNG / Junit, build tools and Continuous Integration tools 6. Good hands on automation experience in creating frameworks, object identification & scripting 7. Should be able to design & implement robust, scalable, and high quality test automation suites 8. Experience of API automation, integration and unit testing is good to have. 9. Experience of configuration management tools (GIT / SVN / TFS) and configuration concepts (branching, merging etc.) 10. Experience and understanding of Agile development concepts 11. Excellent communication skills, organizational & team building skills. Qualifications 1. 5+ years’ experience in software test automation and/or development 2. BS or MS in Computer Science or related field
