Job description: Responsibilities & Key Deliverables RESPONSIBILITY: 1. Delivery as per project mile stones & APQP process 2. First time Right design by conducting design reviews 3. Chassis & suspension componenents design delivary & packaging / interface signoffs with CFT. 4. Prparation & review of DFMEA, DVP , SOR , CIR and design Review sheets 5. Resolution of product concerns (Quality, Build, validation & Field concerns) 6. Team management, coaching & mentoring 7. Alternate Concept layout preparations & selection study 8. Business case preparations for Chassis, Sub frames & suspension as per project requirements. JOB ROLE: 1. Design specification, hard points optimization with inputs from CAE dynamics and system level calculation 2. Design reviews – DESIGN/ASSEMBLY/MANUFACTURING feasibility 3. Benchmarking/reverse engineering, value analysis, Cost reduction 4. Coordination with all stake holders & project execution 5. Harnessing Design Trends and innovations in Product Design. 6. Deployment of Standardization across platforms 7. Reviewing and generating IMCR proposals 8. Preperation of Guidelines, Standards. 9. Technical Conferences & publications/IPR 10. Manage team deliverables, Goals & targets setting, coaching & mentoring Experience B.E/B.Tech: 12 to 16 Years ( Mechanical) M.E/M.Tech: 10 to 14 (Mechanical) Industry Preferred Automotive Qualifications B.E/M.Tech General Requirements Knowledge of Product data management, Team center Engineering & engineering change release procedures, Product development process/stages (APQP), basic knowledge of matreials, costing, tooling & mfg processes
