Job description: Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.Senior Member Technical Staff for the database test development and quarterly releases team. Minimum 3 years of experience in IT industry and preferrably from QA background . Creating/Testing automated/manual QA of Oracle DB on Linux and Linux Ports . Work with all development teams Experience on Regression testing using Automation tools / running the regressions manually and able to analyse/classify/debug failures based on Results. Familiar with at least one programming language C, Java and programming, PL-SQL. Expertise in automation, scripting languages like Python, Perl Able to test, debug, validate doc, report issues and follow through to resolution. Able to understand / modify / debug test suite Record process steps, define/capture metrics, reduce cycle time and help improve product quality. Able to diagnose the issues/problems in less time and guide other team members. Opportunity to understand Oracle’s core technology Database stack. Soft Skills: . An attitude to automate repeating tasks and work discipline . Should be a good in written and verbal communication . Should be a good team player, mature and able to work across cross functional teams
