Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Senior Functional Tester / Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a total experience of 7+ years, with 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in functional testing and business analysis. The candidate should possess a strong understanding of domain concepts in the banking industry. Responsibilities: Perform functional testing activities for banking projects, ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications. Demonstrate a good understanding of banking domain concepts and apply this knowledge to testing activities. Take on the role of a business analyst, gathering requirements, documenting processes, and providing solutions to business problems. Proficiently write SQL queries to extract and manipulate data for testing purposes. Display a ‘T-shaped’ profile, being adaptable and open to reskilling in areas such as Selenium automation, change management, and Java development. Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies and workflows. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and stakeholders. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Total experience of 7+ years in software testing and business analysis. Relevant experience of 5 to 7 years in functional testing and business analysis. Strong knowledge of functional testing principles and methodologies. Solid understanding of banking domain concepts and processes. Proficiency in writing SQL queries for data extraction and manipulation. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in an Agile development environment. Familiarity with Selenium automation, API automation, Java development, and change management is a plus.
