Job description: Description The MES Application Analyst will be a part of Manufacturing & Operations team for Koch Industries. This role will have the opportunity to join on the ground floor and will play a critical part in helping build out the Koch Technology Center (KTC) over the next several years. Working closely with global colleagues would provide significant global exposure to the employees. This role is a part of the MOLEX team within the KTC. MOLEX is a Koch Industries company. The MES Application Analyst will be responsible for L2 MES support, and other shopfloor application support at multiple Molex Manufacturing sites. The MES Application Analyst will create value by maintaining all the M & O applications in valid state. A Day In The Life Could Include: (Job responsibilities) Provide support to Opcenter (MES) and other shop floor applications Performs comprehensive functionality tests of new and updated applications to verify desired results are achieved. Provide guidance and support to users including diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving any Opcenter (MES) issues Perform or assist in root cause investigations and MES changes/updates. Make required configuration changes as requested by functional team Trains other IT people on Opcenter MES technical support. Communicate configurations / customizations to technical team Script / code minor enhancements Develop / Modify reports report design as per business needs Escalate unresolved reporting Issues to L3, L4 or the delivery manager Responsible for providing desktop and other application support as required by manufacturing shop floor operations. This includes installing, repairing, upgrading, replacing, and maintaining hardware/software and peripheral equipment Responsible for providing functional, technical and data administrative services Responsible for coordinating with infrastructure team for issue resolution. What You Will Need To Bring With You: (experience & education required) Bachelor’s degree/Undergraduate in Computer Science/Information Technology/Manufacturing or a related field 2+ years working with MES systems, or as a Developer or Systems Analyst in the manufacturing domain. 2 years supporting Opcenter 2 year of object-oriented Web development using Java/C#.NET 2 years of application and desktop and infrastructure support. What Will Put You Ahead: (experience & education preferred) MES Application Expertise and Know-how: Configuration, Integration, analytics, scheduling, and reporting Tool Knowledge: XML script, HTML, JavaScript, HA Knowledge of relational databases (Microsoft SQL server, Oracle, or others), and SQL Good understanding and experience of plant manufacturing processes.
