Job description: The Architecture Lead Analyst is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. This position sits under Institutional Client Group’s TTS (Treasury & Trade Services) Technology division and will be based out of Pune, India. The overall objective of this role is to lead entire Architecture function for Imaging portfolio to drive platform modernization by closely working with all stakeholders involved in alignment with Business and Organization strategy. Responsibilities Executes the architectural vision for all IT systems through major, complex IT architecture projects ensures that architecture conforms to enterprise blueprints. Develops technology roadmaps, while keeping up-to-date with emerging technologies, and recommends business directions based on these technologies. Provides technical leadership and is responsible for developing components of, or the overall systems design. Translates complex business problems into sound technical solutions. Applies hardware engineering and software design theories and principles in researching, designing, and developing product hardware and software interfaces. Provides integrated systems planning and recommends innovative technologies that will enhance the current system. Recommends appropriate desktop, computer platform, and communication links required to support IT goals and strategy. Exhibits good knowledge of how own specialism contributes to the business and good understanding of competitors products and services. Acts as an advisor or mentor to junior team members. Requires sophisticated analytical thought to resolve issues in a variety of complex situations. Impacts the architecture function by influencing decisions through advice, counsel or facilitating services. Guides, influences and persuades others with developed communication and diplomacy skills. Performs other job duties and functions as assigned Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating Technical expertise Possesses in depth conceptual, functional, and non-functional knowledge of: Document Digitization technologies (OCR – Tesseract, Abby, Kofax, GoogleVision) combined with AI/ML Docker Containers, Kubernetes cluster management and Orchestration Microservices architecture and Function as a service (FaaS) Cloud Technologies (Red Hat OpenShift / AWS / GCP) Multi-tenanted virtualized platforms managing critical workloads Big data, Analytics and Visualization , MicroStrategy Kafka, Spark, Springboot .NET Core, Java & Python Front end technologies, Angular, React JS, NodeJS, HTML 5, TypeScript. Databases: Oracle, MS SQL, Mongo DB, Couchbase, Impala Access Management: SSO, OAuth, JWT DevOps & CI/CD practices and tooling (e.g Jenkins, jFrog antifactory, Bitbucket) Business Rule Management systems such as DROOLS, Red Hat Decision Manager, Kogito, Quarkus Skills Have a demonstrable hands-on experience in working with Cloud Technologies (OpenShift / AWS/GCP/) Experience in working on large scale transformation projects requiring to migrate from monolithic architectures to a modern containerized solutions & microservices architecture. Excellent documentation, & communication skills with an ability to clearly articulate complex Cloud concepts to people new to Cloud environment Strong domain knowledge of Banking & financial services Qualifications 12-15 year’s relevant experience in Financial Services or similar fields with documented track record of success Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication Strong Leadership skill and working knowledge of the techniques required to adequately plan & drive enterprise level changes. Understanding of regulatory requirements, particularly cross-border requirements Valuing Diversity: Demonstrates an appreciation of a diverse workforce. Appreciates differences in style or perspective and uses differences to add value to decisions or actions and organizational success Education: Bachelor’s/University degree in Engineering or equivalent experience, potentially Master’s degree Relevant industry certifications in Architecture / Cloud & related areas would be an added advantage.
