We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Software Engineer. In this role, you will: Work closely with ITSO, Agile Leads & Infra manager to ensure the IT solutions and project plans meet business needs and time to market. Responsible for automating the continuous integration / continuous delivery pipeline within a DevOps Product/Service team driving a culture of continuous improvement. Keep up to date and have expertise on current tools, technologies, cloud platforms and areas like cyber security and regulations pertaining to aspects like data privacy, consent, data residency etc. that are applicable. Responsible for the release and change management strictly through the well-defined group level processes and policies. Review allocation of issues and agree categorization of high/medium/low. Provide visibility of status of action plans and external/internal audit issues for GT infrastructure. Challenge where appropriate, decisions made on control implementation. Requirements To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements: Expertise in IT solution development specific and DevOps automation tools.Expertise in IT delivery aspects like IDEs (Eclipse), Code versioning (GIT), code scanning software (SONAR QUBE), internal/external code integration, testing, automation (Jenkins), cloud services (GCP) etc. Expertise in: Distributed technology (like Java). DevOps automation and GCP knowledge is add-on. Excellent communication skills able to articulate at all the levels, to peers at team various levels.Positive mind set, Result driven, adaptable and customer-centric.Analytical and problem solving skills. Keen attention to detail, and demonstrable ‘ownership’ of problems and tasks.A drive and enthusiasm to deliver excellent service and continual improvement. Good knowledge around Java, Spring Framework, Hibernate, Maven, Rest/SOAP, SQL Good to have experience/knowledge of IBM WebSphere App Server Co-ordinates release deployment and supports systems in production.
