Essential Responsibilities: To work in flexible shift timings and participate in a cross-shore development team Influence and collaborate to create amazing API’s and test the same through automation Participate in Peer Review Participate in Agile scrums with cross-functional teams Participate in Agile sprints including story writing, planning, daily standups, backlog grooming sessions and reviews Participate in SAFe ceremonies Analyze production defects, troubleshoot systems, identify root cause and implement fixes Work with third party vendors to develop software and/or integrate their software into our products Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related degree with modern application development experience, with 1-3 years of experience in API development using Java and Spring Framework, or in lieu of a degree, 3-5 years of experience in API development using Java and Spring Framework. Strong technical expertise in Java, Spring Projects – Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Spring Cloud, Spring Data JPA, Kafka, Git, Maven, REST and SOAP Good to have knowledge on Apigee, Spring Data Gemfire Familiarity in designing applications using SOLID principles, Java and microservice design patterns Experience developing microservices with 12-factor app methodology Working knowledge in RDBMS Experience writing unit, integration and e2e tests using frameworks like Junit, Mockito, Spring Test Experience in Test Driven Development Experience with continuous integration environments and using tools like Jenkins Strong desire to develop high quality code with ability to review and leverage quality check tools like Sonar, PMD etc. Familiarity with Cloud Platform like Pivotal Cloud Foundry, AWS Familiarity with Monitoring tools and have passion to learn and work on Resiliency of Apps Experience with Agile/SAFe application development and familiarity with tools like JIRA Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical peers Strong cross-functional team player with the ability to work seamlessly across a matrix organization Strong oral and written communication, analytical and problem-solving skills Passionate to learn and understand diversified business domains and technologies Strong attention to detail in a team environment Ability to quickly learn new technologies and frameworks Ability to analyze, use structured problem solving and available tools to troubleshoot systems, identify root cause, action plans, impact and resolution options For Internal Applicants: Understand the criteria or mandatory skills required for the role, before applying.
