Job description: Job Description Job Description Evaluation and feasibility analysis of technical requirements. Create/Maintain/Configure existing project BSPs, Integrate/create new Linux distribution according to requirements Design and development of Linux device drivers, Kernel patches and libraries Linux applications implementation and code integration for BSP drivers test Concept, design and Realization of features across all software layers defined in the system architecture. Participation in all reviews & Support in documentation, automation activities Leading and technical mentoring of team Desired skills Strong analytical, communication skills Big attention to detail Team player with a desire for personal development Knowledge about SW Development process and platform based product development multi-threaded programming using POSIX & Good understanding of Access control & user privilege mechanism in Linux .Expert programming using C, Good understanding and hands-on experience of Bootloaders ( U-boot, etc ), BSP development, Linux Kernel and device drivers Sound Linux Kernel debugging and performance tuning knowhow Embedded programming skills Good understanding of Linux Start-up, ARM architecture, SOC processor basics Knowledge in different Linux distributions toolchain Knowhow of secure boot, SELinux is an advantage. .Knowhow of interfaces ( USB, I2C, PCIexpress ) , automotive buses is an advantage. .Working with Source Control tools like git, CICD automation and also good UML experience. Experience with different build tools, CMAKE will be considered as a plus Qualifications BE/B.Tech/ME/MTech in IT/CSE/ECE/EE Additional Information 5-10 years’ experience as Linux kernel developer.
